The young man's passport is circulating online

The passport of the young man that Ike Ekweremadu and his wife took to the U.K.

to donate a kidney to their daughter, who is currently on dialysis, has been

shared on various social media.

The international passport information of the young man revealed his real name and age as 21 years old David Ukpo Nwamini from Nduofia in Ebonyi State. Hence, the same information was provided in the letter for the visa application by Ike Ekeweremadu. The application was submitted to the British High Commission in Abuja, Nigeria for processing.

According to AIT, the passport was issued on November 4, 2021, indicating Nwamini’s birthday as October 12, 2000, and above the legal age to consent. However, it was not enough according to British law. As a result, the Ekweremadu's will have to provide substantial information on the consent agreement with all parties involved in the transaction.The Ekweremadu's are currently in custody until their case resumes on July 7, 2022.
